Antarctica21 takes delivery of cruise ship Magellan Explorer

Antarctica21 has taken delivery of the newbuild cruise ship Magellan Explorer from Chilean shipyard Asenav.

The vessel has a displacement of 4,900 tonnes and accommodations for 73 guests. Facilities include a bar, a library, a meeting room, a sauna, a medical clinic, and space for 10 inflatable boats.

Magellan Explorer is currently in Punta Arenas, Chile, where it will be formally christened on Friday, November 8.
