AIDA Cruises has resumed operational sailings of its vessels for the first time following the seven-month break in the cruise season due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 2,192-guest AIDAblu was the first in the fleet to sail, serving seven-day cruises to five Italian destinations until mid-December 2020.

In line with the resumption of sailings by AIDAblu, AIDA Cruises has begun implementing new health and safety protocols approved by DNV GL and the flag state of Italy. These protocols include requiring each passenger to submit a PCR test with a negative result less than three days old.
