Acclaimed singer and stage actor Elaine Paige has been named as Godmother for Seabourn's newest ship, Seabourn Ovation.
Modelled on the award-winning trio of ships introduced with Seabourn Odyssey in 2009, the 600-passenger Seabourn Ovation will be named by Paige at Valletta, Malta on May 11.
Paige is known as the First Lady of British Musical Theatre, starring as Eva Peron in Evita, Grizabella in Cats and Florence in Chess.
Seabourn Ovation will feature design by Adam D Tihany, a Thomas Keller (Michelin-starred chef) restaurant and a wellness program by Dr Andrew Weil.
