Naval architects OSD-IMT has unveiled a new design of emergency response and rescue vessel (ERRV) that will be fitted with a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system.

The design will offer a fully customisable rescue craft arrangement with a 138-square-metre workable deck area and capacity for just over 300 survivors.

Each ERRV in the series will have an LOA of 50.7 metres, a moulded beam of 13 metres, and a design draught of 4.3 metres.
