Solstad Offshore wins new contract and extension from Equinor

Equinor UK has awarded Norway's Solstad Offshore a two-year contract for the platform supply vessel (PSV) Normand Skipper (pictured). Commencement will be in November/December 2018 and the contract also has up to two years of options after the initial firm period.

In addition, Equinor UK has exercised a one-year option on the present Sea Falcon contract, effective from November 2018.

Normand Skipper will join Sea Falcon and Sea Frost in supporting Equinor's UK operations. Both Sea Falcon and Sea Frost have been on contract to Equinor UK since 2016 and 2017, respectively.
