Acta Marine, which has an offshore walk-to-work construction support vessel (CSV) under construction in Norway, has ordered another one.

Accommodating up to 120 people, the 93.4-metre by 18-metre vessel is equipped with X-bow and X-stern hull lines, an SMST motion-compensated gangway with integrated lift and crane functionality. A helideck will also be fitted.

Also suitable for crew transfers, operation and maintenance, the CSVs are capable of year-round operations in three-metre waves in the North Sea.

The 3,200GT vessel will reach a top speed of 13 knots.

It is scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2019.
