Saudi Arabia's Zamil Offshore Services Company, through its Zamil Shipyards division, has expanded into the construction of rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) with the launch of a new business unit.
The boats are being built by Zamil Ribcraft following the signing of a strategic technology transfer partnership with UK-based Ribcraft. The first two RIBs to be constructed will be supplied to Saudi dive company 17 Sixty.
The RIBs will have FRP hulls and outboard engines.
