China Merchants Heavy Industry (CMHI) has launched a new DP3 diving support construction vessel (DSCV) being built for Singapore-based Ultra Deep Solutions.

The Marin Teknikk-designed Ultra Deep Matisse will be the fifth DSCV to join the Ultra Deep Solutions fleet when it enters service in April 2020.

The vessel will have an LOA of approximately 145 metres, a beam of 27 metres, six Wärtsilä engines, a 24-person saturation diving system, and provisions for two self-propelled hyperbaric lifeboats (SPHLs) from JFD.
