Brazil's Belov Engenharia is slated to build and operate two new dive support vessels (DSVs) in a series for state-run oil company Petrobras.
The Robert Allan Ltd-designed DP2 vessels will be named Belov Humaitá and Belov Amarlina. Each will have an LOA of 41 metres, a width of 10.75 metres, a gross tonnage of under 500 GRT, a speed of 12 knots, and a crew of 38 including divers.
The DSVs will each be equipped with an ROV launch and recovery system (LARS), an aft-mounted A-frame to operate the diving bell, a decompression chamber, and spacious crew quarters.
