Onezhsky floats out second hybrid workboat in series for Rosmorport

Onezhsky Shipbuilding has floated out Viktor Vorotylo, the second Project ST23WIM-H hybrid multi-purpose workboat ordered from the company by local operator Rosmorport.

The 25.7- by 6.8-metre vessel will have a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system, a speed of 12 knots, and space for two crew and 10 passengers. It is designed to operate in temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius.

Once in service, Viktor Vorotylo will be used for duties including ship escort, crew transfer, pilotage, search and rescue (SAR), and pollution monitoring.
