UK-based Manor Renewable Energy (MRE) has purchased the crew transfer vessels (CTVs) MPI Cervantes (pictured) and MPI Cardenio from Dutch operator Offshore Support Vessels for an undisclosed sum.

The 17-metre vessels were designed and built by South Boats of Cowes and will undergo refurbishing in Portland before they begin operational sailing with their new owners.

MRE confirms that the CTVs' engines will be replaced with new ones and each vessel's length will be increased by three metres.
