Ghanaian media reports that the Ghana Navy will soon be supplied with four new crewboats following their construction at a shipyard in Singapore.

The vessels will be modified examples of an existing crewboat design developed by Penguin International. These will be used primarily for offshore platform security missions.

Modifications will include additional armour plating to make the vessels suitable for operation in high-threat environments.
