The installation, maintenance, and subsea acquisition segments are the ones now benefiting from recently awarded charters. These contracts will see a wide range of vessels deployed to support clients based mainly in Western Europe and both North and South America.
Solstad CSVs secure new contract, extensions
Solstad Offshore has been awarded a two years' firm charter contract by Petrobras for the construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Valiant. The vessel will provide accommodation services to support production activities in the Brazilian continental shelf.
The contract, which also has options for extension by up to two years, will commence in the second quarter of 2022.
The Solstad CSV Normand Clipper has meanwhile been granted an extension to its existing charter in support of UK-based the Global Marine Group.
The contract has been extended by a further three years to May 2026. Additional extension options remain available.
Global Marine will continue to utilise Normand Clipper to support its world-wide cable lay operations.
Extension awarded to Siem Offshore AHTS for work in Canada
Siem Offshore has been awarded a contract extension by an undisclosed client in Canada. The extension refers to the multirole AHTS vessel Avalon Sea, covering a firm duration of another six months upon completion of the current contract.
The extension will ensure continued operations for the vessel well into Q4 2022.
DOF Subsea to provide additional PSV for Otto Candies' Gulf of Mexico operations
DOF Subsea will deploy a second Jones Act-compliant platform supply vessel (PSV) to support the ongoing operations of US operator Otto Candies in the Gulf of Mexico.
The PSV Chloe Candies will be deployed on charter for a firm period of two years. Ross Candies, another DOF Subsea PSV, is also operating under charter with Otto Candies in the same waters.
North Star ERRVs bag over £100 million in new charters from various O&G clients
North Star Renewables has been awarded new charter contracts totalling more than £100 million (US$131.82 million).
To serve the contracts, North Star will support new and existing clients in the UK Continental Shelf using its fleet of emergency response and rescue vessels (ERRVs), which are purpose-built to protect personnel working on offshore oil and gas platforms in the North Sea.
Eidesvik survey vessel tapped for PXGEO UK charter
Eidesvik Offshore has been awarded a contract by PXGEO UK under the master time charter agreement for the seismic survey vessel Subsea Viking. The contract will commence no later than April 2022 in direct continuation of the existing stand-by contract.
The firm period is 100 days with options for extensions.
