DeepOcean, Østensjø Rederi extend contract for cable-layer
Østensjø Rederi and DeepOcean have entered into a contract extension for the construction and cable-laying vessel Edda Freya, which has been on contract with DeepOcean since delivery in 2016.
The new contract for the vessel will commence on January 1, 2023 and will have a firm period of two years. DeepOcean will continue to have options for further extensions.
DOF AHTS tapped for work in Brazil
Petrobras has awarded service contracts to DOF subsidiaries Norskan Offshore and DOF Subsea Serviços Brasil for the anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS) Skandi Iguaçu and a remotely operated vehicle (ROV).
The contract will commence in the fourth quarter of 2022 and will have a duration of three years firm plus two years of options.
Rovco charters Glomar Offshore DP2 survey vessel
UK survey specialists Rovco has entered into a charter party agreement with Glomar Offshore for the DP2 IMR vessel Glomar Worker.
The 60-metre vessel will be put to work on Rovco's subsea survey campaigns for major operational wind farms across UK waters.
The charter for Glomar Worker is firm until the autumn of 2022.
Keppel O&M secures another two jackup rig charters
Keppel Offshore and Marine, through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, has entered into agreements for the bareboat charter of another two jackup rigs to be deployed in the Middle East.
The rigs will be chartered to an unnamed drilling company in the Middle East for deployment in the fourth quarter of 2022 for a period of three years, with options for a year's extension.
