Damen Shipyards Gorinchem has launched Auxilia, a new multi-purpose workboat ordered by Netherlands-based ST Marine Support.
The 34.65- by 14.5-metre vessel is designed for anchor handling, dredging support, and towing duties.
Three Caterpillar C32 engines with a total output of 2,907 kW will give Auxilia a speed of 11 knots and a bollard pull of 45 tonnes.
Delivery will take place following final outfitting, which is ongoing.
