Damen hands over 13 vessels to UAE operator

A hand-over ceremony was recently held at Albwardy Damen to mark the delivery of 13 newbuild vessels to UAE operator Jawar Al Khaleej Shipping.

The vessels will be operated at various offshore terminals in Iraq, in a joint cooperation between Jawar Al Khaleej and General Company for Ports of Iraq (GCPI) under a 20-year contract.

The 13-vessel order consisted of four 28-metre ASD tugs, two 32-metre ASD tugs, three 25-metre RSD tugs, three 22-metre tugs, and one 26-metre towing and anchor handling workboat.
