Van Oord, Saare start cooperation on Estonian offshore wind development

Van Oord and Saare Wind Energy have agreed to cooperate on the development of the Saaremaa offshore wind farm in Estonia.

The wind farm will cover an estimated 154 square kilometres southwest of the Estonian island of Saaremaa in the Baltic Sea.

Saare Wind Energy started the development of the project in 2015. The next phase in the development process includes the start of the environmental impact assessment which will be initiated after receiving a positive decision from the Estonian authorities.
