Astilleros Zamakona is due to deliver a service operation vessel (SOV) for Esvagt in August 2019, which will be operated by MHI Vestas. The SOV will operate in support of the Deutsche Bucht (DeBu) offshore wind farm project.

During development of the design of the vessel, emphasis was placed on developing an efficient platform in order to serve offshore windfarms. The vessel has large and comfortable accommodation with capacity for putting up windfarm service personnel, in addition to the vessel's crew. Additionally, good storage capacity for equipment and tools has been provided for below deck and for containers on deck.

The SOV will be equipped with a walk-to-work gangway system in a bespoke tower with a crane placed on top of the tower. The vessel will be fitted out with Esvagt's own STBs ("safe transfer boats"), boats that are launched for the transport of service personnel to the windfarms.

The hull was designed for low fuel emissions and has seakeeping capabilities to ensure best possible comfort and safety for crew and service personnel aboard.
