Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding has launched a new LNG floating storage and regasification unit (LNG-FSRU) ordered by Greek shipowner Dynagas.
The FSRU, which has been named Transgas Power, will have an LOA of 294 metres, a beam of 46.95 metres, a depth of 26.25 metres, and a dual-fuel diesel-electric propulsion system.
Transgas Power and the second and final FSRU from the same series, which is also being constructed at Hudong Zhonghua, are scheduled for delivery to Dynagas in 2021.
