Golden Energy Offshore awarded extensions for two vessels

Norway's Golden Energy Offshore Services (GEOS) has secured a contract extension for the platform supply vessel (PSV) Energy Swan (pictured) with Wintershall Dea Norge.

The contract between GEOS and Wintershall is in direct continuation of a four-year firm charter contract that commenced in 2013. Both parties have now agreed that the vessel will remain firm on charter in direct continuation of the present firm period for an additional four months until November 30, 2020.

Options are still available to extend Energy Swan's charter to November 30, 2021.

GEOS has also secured a contract extension for the inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) vessel Despina, which has been deployed for work with Fugro.

The vessel has safely and successfully completed several project this year for clients in the North Sea.
