Shearwater GeoServices has been awarded an ocean bottom-seismic (OBS) deepwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) project by TGS and Schlumberger in the Gulf of Mexico, USA.
Two Shearwater vessels, SW Diamond (pictured) and SW Emerald, will be used for the project. The vessels will be equipped with three high-capacity sources each composed of three sub-arrays.
The survey will commence in the second quarter of 2020 and is scheduled to be completed over approximately four months.
This will be Shearwater's first ever OBS ROV survey.
