Vattenfall has contracted Swire Blue Ocean for the installation of turbines at the Holland Kust Zuid offshore wind farm.

Using the installation vessel Pacific Osprey, Swire Blue Ocean will transport the various components of the approximately 140 Siemens Gamesa 11MW turbines from the pre-assembly site on the Dutch coast to the Hollandse Kust Zuid wind farm zone where they will then be installed.

The contract between Vattenfall and Swire Blue Ocean is the final one for the installation of all turbines in the wind farm. It is expected that it will take approximately one year for this campaign to be completed from loading the first turbine parts for transport to installing the last turbine.
