DEME Offshore and Japanese marine contractor Penta-Ocean Construction have concluded a memorandum of understanding (MOU) regarding comprehensive cooperation for the construction of offshore wind farms in Japan.
The two companies said that they hope to successfully work on offshore wind projects while overcoming the challenges posed by the complex subsoil and severe weather conditions offshore Japan.
Both DEME and Penta Ocean are expected to deploy their respective fleets of offshore installation, heavy lift, cable laying, and maintenance vessels for work on the various projects as stipulated in the MOU.
