Shelf Drilling has secured a one-year contract extension for the jackup rig Trident 16 in direct continuation of the vessel's existing contract with Egypt's Belayim Petroleum Company (Petrobel).
The rig is now on contract with Petrobel until February 2021.
Trident 16 is currently deployed on operations in the Gulf of Suez.
