Singapore's Kim Heng Offshore and Marine, through wholly-owned subsidiaries Kim Heng Marine and Oilfield (KHMO) and Mazu Land and Marine Works (MLMW) has entered into an agreement with Thailand-based Thaitan Drilling to support the latter's horizontal directional drilling projects in the offshore wind sector.

Under the agreement, KHMO will provide Thaitan with platform supply vessels (PSVs), tugs, and barges by way of charter.

The vessels will be used for transport, delivery, and installation of wind farm components.

The same agreement will see MLMW become 50 per cent owned by KHMO and 50 per cent owned by Thaitan, after which MLMW will become known as Thaitan International.
