The hull of Acta Marine's new walk-to-work vessel, Acta Auriga, has arrived at Ulstein Verft for outfitting and commissioning.

The Norwegian shipbuilder Ulstein Verft and its Polish hull builder completed the steelwork.

After a safe arrival at the sheltered dry-dock at Ulsteinvik, the Ulstein SX195 hull will be fitted with SMST mission equipment, such as a motion-compensated gangway and six-ton cargo crane.

When delivered by the end of the first quarter in 2018, the Acta Auriga will join the Acta Orion in the Acta fleet dedicated for walk to work, offshore logistics and accommodation services for a variety of clients in the offshore renewable and offshore energy industry.

It will include hotel facilities to accommodate up to 120 persons and a 1,000-square-metre deck space for cargo storage.
