Ukraine port authority unveils dredging projects planned for 2019

The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) plans to dredge a projected total of 16,335,000 cubic metres from improvement works scheduled for 2019.

Capital construction work will consist of reconstruction of the operating area of the USPA's Illichevsky branch office with a maximum 15-metre depth increase and reconstruction of water approaches, manoeuvring areas, and operational water areas.

There will also be work to maintain passport depths on the Bug-Dnieper Liman Channel (BDLC), the Berdiansk and Marupol sea ports, and reservoirs in Kiev, Kamensky, Kanevsky, Kremenchugsky, Dneprodzerzhinsky, Dnieper, and Kakhovsky.
