Sea trials begin for Hanson’s newest aggregate dredger

Damen Shipyards Galati in Romania has begun conducting sea trials of a new marine aggregate dredger ordered by UK-based Hanson Aggregates Marine.

The 35-metre Hanson Thames will be used to conduct offshore aggregate extraction in water depths up to 55 metres even in harsh environments.

The dredger's area of operations will encompass the North Sea and the English Channel.
