Royal IHC delivers dredger to Subtech for work in Mozambique

Royal IHC has delivered a new cutter suction dredger to South Africa-based marine construction firm Subtech.

The dredger will be deployed to help in the construction of a new offloading jetty at a future LNG terminal in Mozambique under a contract awarded by CCS, a joint venture of Saipem, McDermott International, and Chiyoda Corporation.

The newbuild has an installed power of 1,350 kW and will be capable of dredging up to depths of 14 metres.
