Danish marine projects company Rohde Nielsen has completed dredging works related to the transport of wastewater from Hano island to a treatment facility on the southern Swedish mainland.

The contract scope on behalf of local client NCC comprised dredging a six-kilometre-long trench, at water depths from three to 30 metres. The backhoe dredger Mjolner R executed the dredging in the shallower sections while the offshore multipurpose vessel Heimdal R worked in the deeper areas.

All the installation works in the trench, including pipe- and cable lay, were executed by Heimdal R. Backfilling was also completed in all trench sections.
