Boskalis awarded multi-year maintenance contract for Port of Rotterdam

Royal Boskalis Westminster has been awarded a multi-year contract for maintenance dredging at the Port of Rotterdam.

The contract was awarded by the Port of Rotterdam and the Department of Public Works (Rijkswaterstaat) in the Netherlands. The maintenance dredging will take place in the Maasmond/Maasgeul in the access channel and inner port basins of the port.

The initial contract duration is three years commencing in March 2020. This may be extended up to five more years through to 2028.

A mid-sized trailing suction hopper dredger will be deployed for the contract.
