Capital Link's Decarbonization in Shipping Forum will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, April 14 and 15, 2021, from 09:30 to 16:30 British Standard Time (BST) as a digital conference.
The event will take place over the course of two days, with 14 virtual sessions, and 72 speakers with 69 companies participating on the discussion panels.
Although the event is open to all major stakeholders in shipping, heavy emphasis will be on engagement with shipowners.
The discussions will cover topics that include: new ship designs aimed at lowering emissions; alternative marine fuel options such as LNG, LPG, and methanol; carbon-neutral port infrastructure and supply chains; and policy-making and regulatory concerns.
The forum will be held digitally, making it available to a global audience. A series of live presentations and interactive panel discussions will be delivered in real time video format.
There will be exhibition halls with 25 digital booths. For all interested parties, exhibition materials can be saved into a briefcase and reviewed at any time.
