This year Olex 3D mapping and navigation systems will be made available for Asian fishermen and mariners, as Olex have appointed Simrad/Kongsberg Maritime as their new Asian distributor.
In the last few months Simrad and Olex have translated marketing material into Korean and Chinese, and in March Olex conducted a training workshop, with representatives from Simrad Asia, at the Olex office in Norway.
This training covered use, installations and support of the Olex systems. Some of the time was devoted to Korean translations of the most important Olex screen menus.
Simrad will distribute Olex systems all across Asia from their main offices in Malaysia and Korea.
