Raymarine has announced the launch of a range of new displays for on-board information and control systems.

The e7 is a 17.78-centrimetre multifunctional display, with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. The e7 enables on-screen control of thermal cameras and can stream live video direct to mobile devices such as iPads or iPhones anywhere on a vessel, making navigation charts, thermal video, radar and sonar information more accessible and portable. Via Bluetooth, the user can also control the e7 via the optional remote control unit.

Users are able to customise their e7 through simple drag-and-drop movements and navigation charts can be configured quickly and easily. The e7 has a bright LCD backlit display to improve power efficiency, with a special Sport Optic coating to combat the 'blackout' effect often experienced when viewing screens at an angle through polarised sunglasses. The device has been designed to withstand adverse environmental conditions.

For fishermen, the e7D incorporates built-in HD digital sonar, targeting fish and depicting bottom contours and structure with amazing clarity. The e7D can also be connected to thru-hull or in-hull transom transducers. Both the e7 and e7D have a 48-channel, high-sensitivity internal GPS and are available with Navionics ready-to-navigate coastal or inland charts supplied on microSD cards.

Raymarine has also launched its new i70 instrument and p70 and p70R autopilot control head displays.

Boasting a 10-centimetre LCD display, the i70 has the graphic capabilities to show everything from traditional analogue dials to engine information and tank levels; supported data views include wind, speed, depth, tridata, engine (NMEA2000), environmental (NMEA2000), fuel (NMEA2000) and navigation. The i70 also has the ability to act as an AIS repeater, showing the 25 closest AIS-transmitting vessels and enabling vessel information to be obtained from individually selected targets. The backlit display uses up to 35 percent less power than other colour instruments, with 160˚ horizontal and vertical viewing angles to ensure the screen can be seen clearly from all angles.

Sharing the i70's display features but in a 8.9-centimetre screen format, Raymarine's new autopilot control heads are available in two versions. The p70 features -/+ 1˚ and -/+ 10˚ push-button controls designed primarily for sailing vessels, while the p70R with a combination of push-button and rotary controls for powered craft. Both versions are customisable to display pilot information in a number of different formats to suit the user.

The p70 and the p70R both support auto, standby, pattern, track and windvane autopilot modes with the p70R having additional power steer and jog steer modes.  Fishermen will also find a wide range of fishing patterns. Able to support multiple data sources, the p70 and p70R are compatible with Raymarine SPX Series pilots and Raymarine ST pilots.
