Barentsevo More ("Barents Sea"), a new Project KMT01 freezer trawler being built by Russia's Vyborg Shipyard, is set to commence initial sea trials in the last week of August.

The trials will focus on checking the reliability of the vessel's systems as well as compliance with design requirements.

The 86- by 17-metre vessel, which will have a rated processing capacity of up to 160 tonnes of fish per day, will be delivered to the Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet of the NP North-West Fisheries Cooperative upon completion.
