Construction begins on fifth Project ST192 trawler for Russian Fishery Company

United Shipbuilding Corporation's (USC) Admiralty Shipyard has cut the first steel for a new freezer trawler ordered by Russian Fishery Company.

The vessel will be the fifth Skipsteknisk-designed Project ST192 trawler to be built for the same customer. It will have a length of 108 metres, a beam of 21 metres, a cargo hold capacity of 5,500 cubic metres, and space for 139 crew and fish processing personnel.

The trawler will be operated in the Barents Sea and the Sea of Okhotsk.
