Russia's Vyborg Shipyard has begun sea trials of a new Project KMT01 ice-class factory trawler ordered by local fishing company Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet.

The sea trials of the 86-metre Norvezhskoye More are being conducted in the Baltic Sea. Following the trials, the vessel will undergo final outfitting with delivery scheduled shortly afterwards.

Once in service alongside sister vessel Barentsevo More, Norvezhskoye More will be operated in Russia's Northern Fishery Basin off Norway's Svalbard archipelago.

Like other Project KMT01 vessels, Norvezhskoye More was designed by Russia's Marine Engineering Bureau and Norwegian naval architects Skipsteknisk.
