A Turkish yard floated out a new midwater pelagic trawler at its Yalova facilities on Saturday, September 11.

The BV-classed, Salt Ship-designed Veronica will be operated by Irish fishing company Atlantic Dawn.

The newbulding is the second in a series to be ordered by the same owner. The first trawler, Leila, was launched in March of this year.

Once completed, Veronica will have a length of 64 metres, a beam of 14 metres, and an RSW tank capacity of 1,552 cubic metres.
