Severnaya Verf cuts steel for Norebo’s third Project 170701 trawler

United Shipbuilding Corporation's (USC) Severnaya Verf has cut the first steel for the third of 10 Project 170701 factory trawlers ordered by Norebo Group.

The trawler will be operated by Norebo subsidiary Karelian Seafood.

The 81- by 16-metre vessel will be able to perform both bottom and pelagic trawling and will have a processing capacity of up to 150 tonnes of fish per day.

The keel-laying is scheduled for the end of July 2019.
