Murmansk owner takes delivery of new coastal trawler

Murmansk-based Karelryba Fishing Company has taken delivery of a new coastal trawler from Vympel Shipbuilding.

Named Vympel, the newbuild has an LOA of 36.18 metres, a beam of nine metres, and a fishroom capable of storing up to 70 tonnes of catch.

The vessel will be used to fish for cod and haddock in the Barents and White Seas.
