A new steel-hulled twin-rig trawler has been delivered to fisherman David Stevens of Newlyn, Cornwall.
Designed by MacDuff Ship Design and built by MacDuff Shipyards, Crystal Sea replaces a similarly named vessel that has been with the Stevens family's fishing fleet since 2008.
The new Crystal Sea has an LOA of 24.5 metres, a beam of 7.6 metres, one Caterpillar C32 492kW main engine, and a fishroom with capacity for up to 700 boxes.
