Damen lays keels for two new trawlers for Belgian clients

Damen Maaskant Shipyards Stellendam recently held a keel-laying ceremony in for two new beam trawlers for two separate clients in Belgium.

The new beam trawler for Rederij Devan will be named Avanti while its sister-ship for Rederij Long Ships is to be christened Franson.

Each vessel will have a length of 37.95 metres, a beam of 8.5 metres, and a fish hold capacity of 200 cubic metres.
