Argentina’s Federico Contessi delivers shrimp trawler to local operator

Argentine shipbuilder Astillero Federico Contessi y Cia has delivered a new fishing vessel to local operator Aquellos Tres.

Named Siempre Maria Elena ("Always Maria Elena"), the 20.98- by seven-metre newbuild will be used to trawl for Patagonian shrimp out of the Port of Rawson in Southern Argentina's Chubut province.

One Yanmar 6AYAM-ET main engine delivers a speed of nine knots.
