Norwegian builder Larsnes Mek Verksted delivered the purse seiner/seiner netter Hovden Viking to local operator Hovden Senior on Saturday, December 15.
This replaces a 1996-built vessel also named Hovden Viking, which is now operating under a different owner.
Designed by Rolls-Royce Marine, the new Hovden Viking has a length of 46 metres, a width of 12 metres, and accommodations for 12 persons.
This purse seiner/seine netter may also be adapted for trawling in case the owners decide to use it for such purpose in future.
