Norway's Techno Dive has taken delivery of a newbuild light dive support vessel (DSV) from local builder Hukkelberg Boats.
The 14.9- by 3.8-metre Katrine will be used primarily as a subsea inspection, repair, and maintenance craft to serve clients operating fish farms in Norway.
The vessel is equipped with a two-person diving system, a deck crane capable of launching and recovering remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), a drying room, and a workshop. Power is provided by two Yanmar 6LY440 engines that deliver a maximum fully loaded speed of 33 knots.
Katrine is the third Hukkelberg vessel to join the Techno Dive fleet.
