New Jersey-based Weeks Marine recently took delivery of a new tug from Rodriguez Shipbuilding of Alabama.

The 62.5- by 25-foot (19- by 7.62-metre) William O will be used for a range of duties including towing, dredging support, and fuel/water transport for clients along the Gulf and Atlantic coasts. It is a near identical sister of Jack K (pictured), which was delivered in late March 2021.

The tug has two Cummins QSK19 750hp (559kW) main diesel engines and a wheelhouse with four steering stations to enable the crew to operate the towing winches effectively even under adverse weather conditions.
