Washburn and Doughty bags SLSDC tug order

Maine shipbuilder Washburn and Doughty has been awarded a contract to supply a new 984kW ASD harbour tug to US Government-owned Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (SLSDC).

Measuring 18.2 metres in length, the vessel will be the smallest harbour tug to be designed by Seattle-based naval architecture firm Glosten.

The tug is scheduled to be delivered in 2021.
