Robert Allan Ltd (RAL) has been awarded design contracts of two vessel types for Seacor subsidiary Seabulk Towing.
Two of the tugs will be ASD vessels with hybrid diesel mechanical/electric motor propulsion systems provided by Caterpillar while the remaining pair will feature RAL's own triple drive configuration design offering enhanced omni-directional manoeuvrability and control.
All four vessels will be constructed at Master Boat Builders' facilities in Alabama.
