Diversified Marine of Portland, Oregon, has floated out a new tug ordered by Crowley Maritime Corporation.
Once completed, Crowley Apollo will have two Caterpillar 3516 main engines and winches from Markey Machinery Company. Diversified Marine said it expects the engines to deliver a bollard pull of around 81 tonnes.
The tug will soon begin undergoing sea trials before its scheduled delivery in May.
