Miami-based cruise line Azamara has begun conducting sailings of the cruise ship formerly known as Pacific Princess.
Originally built in 1999 by French shipyard Chantiers de l'Atlantique, the 670-guest vessel was first owned by Norway's Renaissance Cruises. It was then operated by Princess Cruises from 2002 until it was sold in January 2021.
The vessel was christened Azamara Onward in a ceremony in Monte Carlo on Tuesday, May 3. It is the fourth vessel to join Azamara's current fleet.
